Cutix Plc Appoints Igbokwe as Acting CEO Amid Leadership Transition

Cutix Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs. Uchechukwu Igbokwe as its Acting Chief Executive Officer following the resignation of Ijeoma Oduonye.

In a formal disclosure to the Nigerian Exchange, the company said Oduonye stepped down from her position effective March 5, 2026. Igbokwe will oversee the company’s operations in an acting capacity pending the selection of a substantive CEO.

Prior to her new role, Igbokwe served as Assistant General Manager and Head of Strategy and Planning in the Office of the CEO. She is regarded as a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate planning, administration, and organisational development.

Having joined Cutix Plc in 1992, she has built a long-standing career within the organisation, holding leadership roles across several key departments, including Finance, Commercial, Human Resources, Enterprise Assurance, Administration, and the Anuka Plant. Her wide-ranging experience has played a significant role in strengthening internal processes and operational performance.

Igbokwe holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic Oko and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. She is also a Certified Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems and a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

Her professional development includes executive programmes at Lagos Business School, where she received training in supply chain management, marketing, and interpersonal skills, as well as management courses organised by Tom Associates.

The company said her deep institutional knowledge and leadership experience position her to ensure stability and continuity as Cutix navigates the transition to new executive leadership.
